Revamped ALine skirts....

Well decided the lace had to go from a few of my ALine skirts....
These two images show the skirt as they orginally looked...

 And this image is how they look now i think they look pretty cute ......

The fabrics are all cotton with spots, stripes, skulls, crosses and a little bit of lace thrown in....

This Cute scarf i made using white stretch and jersey knit interlock fabric layers, cut out to reveal the lace layer...

Looks great with any outfit...

Length is 120 cm and width is 17 cm

well back to it cut cut cut..........snip snip snip....

Little Black dress with lace

Spent the weekend creating my version of a  gorgeous little black dress with white lace it is all stretch.

The dress is made from layers of fabric sewn together, then i cut away the top layer to create this design.....

The dress is sleeveless perfect for warmer days/nights.

It is 85 cm in length and will suit a size 12 to 14 easy

The dress has a V shaped neckline back and front.

This dress is very flattering and very comfy....

What to do with all the scraps of fabric....

Discovered i am building up a lot of left over bits and pieces of fabrics....

I guess best thing for them is to turn them into something that can be worn...... a TShirt would suit i think....

And the result looks kind of cool......

Most of these fabrics are from skirt.... the lace is from a rather large bag of lace and other offcuts that my daughter gave me.....

Oh so cold.......

Today has to be one of the coldest so far this winter.... 

Completed a skirt today well nearly just need to fix up waist band.....

i used a cute cherry and pin stripe fabric together and some cute lace....

Work and other boring stuff......

Well i really wish i could work less hours and get same money.... 

work is so boring...... 

the customers are great but the job is repetitious...

I think i would love to spend my day sewing and just pretending to create stuff.....

I have a pile of lace might try and make something from it...... lovely soft pastel colors....pink, blue, green, bit different from the black that is in most of my stuff......

any way of  to it i go.....

Moving day

Well not my moving day, my daughters moving day, and what a day is has been, there new home is very nice, but no power for at least the next 10  days, some mix up with the builder or some thing like that,

lucky they own next door as well so can use that power, but with two young children i would say it will not be much fun......

They do have a pretty nice view from there deck........ the sun streams in in the morning so lovely...cannot wait to stay.....

So home now and off course i just had to do some sewing......

i thought that these fabrics might work together

with some black and lace

some layers would look awesome so here are the resulting creations......

I just wish i could take better pictures.......

Playing with fabrics green and blue...

Woke up nice and early and thought i should organize my room so many tubs of fabric......

instead i think i would rather play and see what i can do with them......
